Ive become very poetic lately (and maybe Chrysanthemum is to blame or the Scholastic Art & Writing Awards are to blame but whatever), so here is a little rant about things in the form of a poem. Enjoy this poetic rant. I think this is called Slam Poetry In this world we learn from each other And we pick up habits even if we dont know We already know this and it comes in many forms The most obvious one is fads though Fads spread and explode and dye down sometimes repeat They go up and down spreading fast through the streets And theyre always fun no matter what But how they spread and change is what messes them up I like this thing and others do too I think thats great because I can be in a fanbase But when it spreads too fast I get lost in the crowd Because there are too many similar people around And how should I know who to befriend When theres too many in this fad theres a million of them Hey maybe just slow it down Its just too much hype all at once And yeah you love it but my head is spinning Maybe its just me whining but who can ever say A million to one and theres one to a million Its getting overbearing And why am I still talking Maybe Im just selfish and saying dont be happy But hey doesnt my happiness matter just as much I....did not expect it to turn out like that at all.... Maybe I should have just..... not tried to make my rant poetry? Maybe Ill try ranting again later. But since Ive already gotten my thoughts out of my system (albeit in poem form) I might not find the need to rant later.... Idk :? >shrugs
