Ive been Josh Ho-Sangs Strength and Conditioning Coach on and off - TopicsExpress

Ive been Josh Ho-Sangs Strength and Conditioning Coach on and off since he was 12 years old. Ive worked very closely with him over the last 8-weeks to get him ready for his journey to the NHL. So I feel pretty justified in sharing my 2-cents, because I know him (and his family) personally and Im quite aware of all he has said to the media over the last 8 weeks. To say the least Josh is a very passionate (and very misunderstood) kid who loves hockey on a level Ive yet to see again, and Ive worked with a lot of hockey players from 8-yrs old to professional NHL. Im so disappointed that his words were THAT misconstrued by the Sun as this article depicts an arrogant, egotistical a**hole. THREE things Josh is far from! But then again, this story wouldnt be viewed or shared IF the Sun actually wrote about the TRUE Josh Ive gotten to know very well. The saddest part about these words, is that they have REAL potential in harming his future. A future he has worked very hard to get to. And the power the media has in a case like this makes me sick to my stomach. We all know the SUNS bottom line is to sell more papers/more page views but at the cost of trying to ruin this kids dream of moving onto the NHL... SHAME ON YOU. Ive worked with many pros and they all have this quiet confidence that they are the best. Something that is absolutely crucial in making it to the next level. Something that is crucial in making it in any field! Bottom line: Josh has the ability to be a big star in the NHL. He is young, confident, sincere and has unbelievable skill. He loves hockey and is willing to do whatever it takes to make his dream his reality. In my opinion, whoever drafts this kid is getting an a game-changer. THIS is the kid, that 2-3 yrs from now, teams will be shaking their heads regretting not picking him. I guarantee it. Watch out for this kid. Household name in no time.
