Ive been a baseball fan for a long time, I can probably tell you more pointless facts and stats about baseball, then anything else. With that being said, Sept 28th could quite possibly be an extremely sad day for the sport. Sept 28th is the final regular season game for the Yankees, and if they dont make the playoffs, then itll be the final game of Derek Jeters storied career. Im not a Yankees fan by any means, but The Captain has been one of the most prolific ambassadors to the game. Not just a great player, but a great person, on and off the field. If the Yanks would offer tickets for less then your first born child, Id definitely be at that game. I have the utmost respect for the guy and its gonna be shame to watch him leave.
