Ive been a bit quiet of late, I do appologise, but 2 weeks ago I had a minor car accident. I was at work in the company van and a car hit me on the drivers side. I didnt even see it coming. They were signalling to turn left I was turning right. They did not turn but drove into the side of me. Unfourtunately I am in the wrong. The police said it was my fault for not waiting to see if they turned. This has dented my confidence, major. The company have told me that I will either receive a disciplinary or a driving ban at work and be taken off my run as this is the 2nd accident I have had. The first happened not long after my Dad died, at work, again, and I forgot that i was driving a substitute van which was much bigger than my usual van and I scraped the side of a rental van. I was so shook up from the accident, both air bags deployed and I received friction burns to my lower arms the right arm was bleeding the left arm was blistered. They became infected and the blisters burst, I had to have dressing changes every 2 days. Dressings are now off and the arms are healing. I was soooooooo lucky, I think my Dad was looking after me, telling me it was not time yet. But it has rocked me and Arthurs world, a lot of what ifs. Im beginning to heal inside now, but when things happen to me I always retreat and deal with them in my own way, usually by myself. I have been down but now I am on the up. Life is good and Im glad to be alive. xxx
