Ive been all over this country and Ive been around the world and what I remember most about those experiences is that people for the most part were kind, considerate and very willing if not eager to participate or engage in open conversation, even if the language barrier seemed too steep or vast to overcome. Their patience never seemed to wane and they genuinely tried to be helpful, courteous and amiable. I know that people are mostly good with unselfish tendencies on this planet, so why is it that here at home, people cant get along, cant stand each other to the point of violence or at a minimum a disrespectful nature, why do we tolerate foreigners yet we cringe at our own neighbors? Quite simply, we REFUSE to partake in, embrace or coddle ignorance. We simply should know better, there is no excuse for that type of behavior, were an educated country that somehow lost our way and sight of our morals and virtues and if we dont locate them soon, it very well could be the undoing of society or community as we know it. Patience is indeed a virtue but there is no place for ignorance, its abhorred and intolerable.... just saying.
