Ive been amusing myself for the last couple of days watching a few of Jayson Sutcliffes videos of him teaching his students rotation and landing variations and demonstrating them himself. Im a big fan of displaying mastery of the content used in routines, and rotation and landing variations is a great way to get a bit more value out of consistent content. Heres a clip of mine that demonstrates extended rotation, continuous execution flow and a laid out landing position taken from the 1988 Sunrise Invitational. Even a tight penciled judge has to give up a couple 10ths of a point for the added degree of difficulty, especially if you do it a couple of feet in front of them so that they can feel the breeze created by your rotation. :)
