Ive been given the number five by my daughter, Wendy. I think this is supposed to be five things no one knows about me. If this isnt what it is about, let me know and Ill revise this list: 1) I was very sick as a baby and came close to dying. I only weighed 12 lbs when I was one-year-old. Ive made up for it since then. 2) I fell or jumped off a Formica table I was standing on at my friend Marions house when I was four or five and got a goose egg on my forehead. Sometimes I think its still there. 3) Im a real ghost buster and did paranormal research with a group. Im very intuitive (ESP?). My sister ran down our hallway screaming that I was voodoo. Just before my dad got a call that his uncle had died, Id started shaking and told any sister that somebody in our family just died. I was a teenager. Things like that happened to me all the time and it still happens on occasion. 4) At 2:00 a.m.on May 28, 1973, I was dreaming that a bunch of doctors and nurses were standing around a cradle and wouldnt let me through to see what was there. I pushed someone out of the way and looked in the cradle at a little pink monkey. I screamed and turned to run. At that moment my water broke and Wendy was born later that morning. 5) I was asked by the editor of Illness Crisis & Lost to write an article about the program I developed and managed at the health dept (Fetal & Infant Mortality Review Program). The article was published in that medical journal.
