Ive been asked to get back in focus and continue my suggestions for turning around our city, so here it is: PARTICIPATION Its amazing that in a city of limited size, where everyone has a connection, there is limited participation in the education, business, law enforcement, and life enriching avenues presented daily. School Board meetings have empty seats, counsel meetings have empty seats(unless were reacting to something that already occurred), business seminars have empty seats, yet we all claim to want more and better for ourselves and our youth. When do we show it? Keeping quiet wont change anything, not showing up only insures you get more of the same. its well past the time for a city with an over abundance of fraternal, Masonic, church, and business organizations to come together with an agenda for the elected officials as well as our school officials and demand those goods and services needed to move our community forward. If you do nothing, than simply my friends, you deserve nothing!
