Ive been doing some maintenance on my wifes suburban now that I have some free time. During all this, her speedometer just stopped working. No problem, Im quite handy, Ill just fix it! So instead of buying a new or refurbished one for hundreds of dollars, I bought a repair kit for $45. I will tell you now, that is not for the faint of heart. I fixed it, but that involved taking the instrument cluster apart (after pulling it out) and then soldering out little electric motors out of the circuit board and soldering new motors back in. A little tense if youve never done that sort of thing before...
