Ive been dying to post this since the event was over. First of all, Congrats to ALL of the performers today. The event was amazing even though we were on such a time constraint. Getting the change to perform for 9000+ brethren and in the process having many unforgettable memories, and making new lasting friend ships with brethren all over the SoCal District, is beyond what I can put into words. I already miss the family I created in the basement of the CWS hall on the very first day of rehearsals in Anaheim. All of those long hours of rehearsals, and bonding with all of them, that’s something I wouldnt trade for anything else. Being a part of this as newly baptized member, it’s amazing. God gave me the opportunity to perform for this momentous occasion and it is undoubtedly one of the most unforgettable moments in my life. The BEST part about this whole event; it was a present for God. For the past 100 years hes helped the church in so many ways, starting from humble beginnings and heavily persecuted, to a worldwide organization. This is our way of showing our appreciation and love for him and everything hes done for us. It’s a bittersweet feeling now that it’s done and I dont know what to do on my Saturdays anymore, but I know that I will take everything that Ive learned from the group of musicians that I worked with and better all of my skills. Thank you so much God for this amazing opportunity and Im so excited for what is to come.
