Ive been going through an old computer and found this competition I did with the staff at Tolarno about 15 years ago.In case anyone doesnt know Iain Hewitson (Huey) and I owned Tolarno down the road for 15 years from 1990-2005 prior to opening Barney Allens. The Big “Duey” Competition Aim; To call Huey “Duey” Scoring: • You can only be awarded points by someone else playing the Big “Duey” competition • You get a point if they hear you call Huey “Duey”. • If Iain questions you, you lose a point unless he also uses the word “Duey”. (e.g. “did you call me Duey”) and you convince him that you didn’t. In this case you get another point (once again has to be awarded by someone else) • If you get Iain to say “My name is Huey not Duey” you get 5 points (or anything else with both Huey and Duey in the sentence) • If you mange to call him Huey, Duey and Luey in one sentence you get 10 points • You can only get one point when Huey is sitting at the bar each time • The winner is the first to 20 points The game should probably played slowly for more enjoyment and because we don’t want Iain to find out Prize – a bottle of French champagne or a case of imported beer Bonus prize- dinner for 2 at Tolarno if you get him to have his ears tested
