Ive been growing my hair for months now and its quite long, but i woke up thinking about covenants. Unbeknown to most, I started growing my hair as a sign of commitment to God not just for the sake of growing it, although Ive always wanted an afro. So to those who begged me to cut it as it made me look like a mountain man, me growing it had a deeper meaning. After realizing how far I am from God in my desires and passions, I feel the need to go bald again. It may seem silly to some but like growing ones hair circumcision, baptism, and communion are all outward signs of an inward covenant. If the inner covenant doesnt exist, then the outward sign is just a fasaed. Dont be so quick to make an outward show of whats not a result of an inward change. Now if I can just find where I put my clippers.....
