Ive been happy with the presumed quality of construction of my student housing apartment, in particular how quiet it is -- I noted to myself repeated how I almost never hear my neighbors, thankfully. Two days ago I realized thats because I DIDNT HAVE ANY immediate neighbors -- until they moved in. And thats just on one side. Apparently new neighbors on the other side are on the way. The reality is: I can hear every word they say (even if I cant understand the language). I can hear every step they take. I can hear when they pee. I can hear when... well you get the idea. And guess what that means THEY can hear? Yeah, I may be modifying a few behaviors. A year of new experiences is what I wanted.
