Ive been lucky enough to have had milk cows for 10 years now. Its been really amazing to get get to know them and to be able to have fresh milk everyday. Sometimes its a real chore to always have to go out and milk but at this time of year I get to go and walk under starry skies and moonlight to find them in the pasture. Sometimes they bring me to my wits end by being stubborn or ridiculous, but in the end my cows have fed me and taught me many things it is such a gift to be able to live with them!
