Ive been mulling over the recent divestment decision by the Presbyterian Church (USA) and have read countless articles about it from different perspectives. Im curious, though, not about the political ramifications, but about the decision itself and how both sides attended to the issues. It brings up interesting questions about emotional intelligence. If I were a blogger Id probably blog about this, but as is, heres a little piece by somebody else (not the best writing, mind you) that articulates some of how emotional intelligence plays into things like this.
