Ive been off FB for a couple of days..... doing the poor mes and groveling in self-pity where I tend to hibernate and lick my wounds for awhile. Today, the other shoe dropped...........it could take MONTHS for the duplex to be ready for me to move back in as the city stepped-in and EVERYTHING must be brought up to Building Code. Now, I have a couple of options....put everything in storage and look for another place here in the area (where I have a large family of in-laws whove been very supportive and a daughter and two grandkids Id like to know better after a long separation); or, consider moving back to the Sacramento area where I have kids and grandkids whod love to see me come back. The dilemma is that the VA Medical Team here is OUTSTANDING (and will probably continue to keep me alive a bit longer) and the VA Med Centers in the Sacramento area SUCK (prior experiences). I never thought Id say something like this....but, Im glad Glenda passed as this pressure and status would have been too much for her in her condition. I have some REAL thinking to do on this one. NOT a happy camper!
