Ive been raising my child for six years now and Im learning more everyday. Having a child with a developmental delay can be hard especially trying not to handicap her but challenge her every obstacle. My mom getting sick right before I had my child was the worst thing that couldve ever happened to me. If someone wouldve told me that my mom wouldnt be around when I had my child I wouldnt have believed them but I do take pride in taking care of her the 3 years before she passed. I changed her diaper just like she changed mine and not for a second did me and my siblings think it was to much. Although she was bed ridden we still did what it took to care for her because she did the same for us. I pray that Im able to take care of my child like my mom did us so if there is ever a time I would need her in such a way, she would be willing and also have the strength to ensure whatever is in Gods plans. And just to end on a good note, even with her condition, my child as made honor roll every time since she has been in school.... #But God #RipMom
