A quick word about discarded needles. We are currently working with NACRO, CCG and Gwynedd Council to find a long-term solution to the problem. Ive picked up a number of needles over the past few weeks and I know the council have been asked to do similar-but this only fixes the problem in the short-term. North Wales Polices School Liaison Officers are doing on-going work with children across the region in regard to needle safety and this will continue. I will update you all when I have further infomation regarding our plans. Thanks, Huw
