Ive been skating in Lexington for about a decade now, and Ive also worked downtown for 4-5 years, so Ive come into contact with a lot of the local homeless population as well as those that are just perpetually down on their luck. Those that have been thrown into lives full of struggle have always held a special place in my heart, and for years Ive done my best to help them out whenever Im able to do so. Ive shared my money, meals, stories, prayers, and ideas with dozens of people that just couldnt catch a break and with this shop I intend to continue to do that. I have several ideas in mind that will help the less fortunate in many different ways, but those ideas cant be implemented until the shop is running and making enough money to fund those other ventures. Ive said it before, but I feel like it fell on deaf ears, so Ill say it again. My intent for this shop is not to get rich. All I need is the necessities and enough income to keep the shops doors open. In return Im going to do all I can to benefit the people of this community.
