Ive been thinking a lot lately about the idea of being grounded and how important that is. As I write this from the sky en route to Seattle (ha!) But seriously, weve got to be grounded, folks. It is so tremendously important because otherwise we take on everyones energy that we encounter. The work I do, its emotional, and, at times really, really heavy, so if I wasnt grounded I would be a constant mess. Up and down, depending on whose story I was latching onto. Depending on whose mood I was inheriting. Listen-youre magic. We all are. We cant take on other peoples shit- its far too exhausting. We got magic to make. Making magic, xo jenniferpastiloff *of course you can share this. But seriously, take off your shoes and go dig your toes into the mud or sand or grass. Get grounded and centered and connected and then go do your thing.
