Ive been through some things in my short time on this earth. Heartbreak, loss, depression, loneliness. At this point in my life none of that means anything. Everything is so trivial and small compared to what some people go through their entire lives! These feelings of regret and shamefulness make me realize that we have no control over our lives. Some of the best people. The most generous, loving, caring, selfless humans end up with the worst hands. When the liars, the cheaters, the losers end up on top. This has always brought me to wonder. Well the best human I have ever known in my life has been through hell and back and he still, even though hes laying on a hospital bed has time to make a joke. He made me smile yesterday! He made me proud that Im his friend! He made me happy that Im alive! Matt Berube you are an inspiration to every human on this planet! I am more than honored to call you my friend! But I am proud to call you my brother! I love you! And I know we will spend many more nights cranking tunes and laughing our eyes out! You have made me a better man!! Connor
