Ive been told I dont believe in free speech if I censor comments on my wall. But the way I look at it, a FB wall is like being an editor of an opinion magazine. If I edit a conservative journal and turn down a Robert Reich article on the budget, that wouldnt be censorship - I would suggest to him he send it to The Nation. I like a healthy debate on my wall, but I consider some positions beyond the pale - strong support for armed sovereignists, strong support for blockades of immigrant children, strong support for Israels incursion into Gaza, strong support for Putin in Ukraine. I consider these untenable positions, and statements in support of such positions will be removed.
