Ive been told in the past that Im too gay to be a successful pop artist, or that Im too big a risk to invest in. It makes me feel a hell of a lot better hearing Lady GaGa talk about how her label used to say that her look, her show and her music were too gay to ever be mainstream. And then she became the biggest pop star in the world with a big old GAY mainstream fan base because MILLIONS of gay people buy and consume music and connect with her. Clearly there is an audience for artists like me then. TAKE. THAT.
