Ive been trying really hard not to be the typical angry African American, but when Michael Brown, Eric Garner, and Tamir rice are dead and the people that have selected the departure date are without reprimand I find myself in a quandary. I must say I am frustrated with the society I find myself in.. But not the Im mad so Im going to block peoples path to work or Im going to set buildings on fire mad Im the Im going to enact actual change that doesnt prove the point of the police, that immediate violence is necessary. Which if you think about it is very scary for the people that the change will effect. In the case of Darren Wilson vs. Michael Brown if the department psychologist would have properly evaluated officer Wilson, he would have seen that Darren exhibits child like characteristics that in the wrong situation could result in feelings of entrapment which could result in a wrongful discharge of a firearm. The solution to this problem a more extensive psychological evaluation. The NYPD officer that directly violated all training and protocol he received since he has been an officer of peace and used a deadly restraint that crushed the air way of Eric Garner that resulted in his death. This is a case where proper discipline and training are in question. If there was any regard for the respect of the public this incident wouldnt have happened. Steps to a lawful arrest by peace officer. Asses the situation- asses the person of interest- quickly put in to effect a plan of controlling the situation so that it results in a safe and secure ending. The officer Timothy A. Loehmann of the Cleveland police department was deemed unfit for police work by a department psychologist in independence Ohio. This was either disregarded or the Cleveland police department was completely oblivious to the fact that officer Loehmann was psychologically unstable. Once again a more extensive psychological evaluation would have saved the boys life. In conclusion the quarrel that we have is not with the individuals that have committed these heinous offenses it is with the department heads that failed us with their nonchalant approach to the people that are sworn to serve and protect us. So I ask you to join in this protest and really change the world. Repost...
