Ive been trying to figure out what, if anything, I should post about the passing of such an inspirational young lady. While I know this situation is not about me, I found that initially I was confused about everything. Why her? Why this way? But then I started to remember that everyone has a plan here on earth. A plan that they map out for themselves to learn about who they are, why they are here, and what they need/want to share with others. It is not for us to question Aleks life nor the amount of time she spent here. For whatever reason, she felt she had served her purpose here and it was her time to go. I am not sad for her, as she knew better than all of us what was in store for her. However, I am sad for those left behind scrambling for answers to questions that dont seem to make sense right now. Just know that I believe Alek fulfilled her purpose here and she is on to bigger and better things. I realize that many will disagree with my belief, and thats ok. I respect other points of view. I also know that each person chooses who they want to meet in their life. So if you were one of the lucky ones to play a role in Aleks life, you are truly special to her! Rest in peace sweet girl!
