Ive been waiting for a post from IFLS that confirmed my suspicion that they are fake. He is trying to equate artificial selection to GMOs. Artificial selection occurs in ways that could potentially happen in nature. Species that could mate, are helped to mate. Plants that could fall and graph to each other, are helped to do so. Organisms that show characteristics we want, are encouraged to reproduce...GMO labs create monstrosities that could not occur in nature. Frog genes inserted into orange trees - that sort of thing. Giant leaps in the DNA that couldnt possibly occur in nature. Artificial selection involves many incredibly tiny changes from existing species, so that no move is ever a big jump from what we already have. . .
