In sum, no charges will be lodged against him for the fatal shooting of Michael Brown. And quite frankly Im rejoicing. And I have no sympathy. Period. The only concern I have is that the District Attorney actually tried the case before the Grand Jury. Indeed, he even made a freudian slip when attempting to reference putting his case before the Grand Jury he said jury which left me to irresistibly to conclude that he was seeking more than to establish probable cause. After all most prosecutors present a prima facie case which can lead to a ham sandwich being indicted. He also pointed out that physical evidence does not waver. Well, I beg to differ. Ive seen some pretty damn good trial lawyers do the same! And as far as grand juror members interacting w/witnesses; again, not to the degree that a trial lawyer can ferret out obscured information. In sum, the Brown family really did not receive justice from this procedure. Overall protocol was not followed. And that is the only area that I feel for them. This kid was a 300# monster; and if he was charging me; Id shoot him, too. And he could be green or a flaming queen or pure white. (Although i might pause bemused at a 300# flaming queen!) I suppose now the apologists will cry drug abuse b/c he had stolen (stronger armed) swisher cigars from a store owner. And then of course he was a kid that never had a fair shot b/c the white or rich society precluded the same.
