Ive been walking with Christ for a lil over 8 years. And I have a tendency to be super hard on myself when I make mistakes. I know in my mind that were not saved by works but my heart sometimes struggles with knowing Im truly loved and accepted. For many years I thought the key to getting deeper revelation and understanding of Gods love was for me to be mistake free and prove my love to God that way. But I found that when I messed up the worst is when he showed me love and mercy like Ive never thought possible. When I deserved his presence the least, I got it the most. When I was positive he was gonna be sick of me and shut me out- he opened his arms wider to embrace me. That kinda love is what changes a wayward heart. His love truly does call us out from our vanity and pride and selfishness. I wanna love others the way he loves me. #justthinkingoutloud
