Ive changed a lot, but Im still working on more change. Each day brings new things I discover about myself that need to be changed. The thing about change is you are never really finished changing. Once you start the process, though, you dont want to stop. You embrace change as a way of life, a way to get to the next level in a complicated very real game of forever after. Starting the change process is definitely the hardest part. It takes much more energy to start something from a dead stop than it does to keep it going. Tonight if you are scared of starting because you afraid of failing, let me encourage you, start with the vision to keep going even if you happen to take a detour. This is the only way for true change to take place and stay in place. To say Im going to change and then go back to the way I was isnt at all productive. Embrace the process. Embrace Change. Embrace the chance at real life. Take your everyday, ordinary life—your sleeping, eating, going-to-work, and walking-around life—and place it before God as an offering. Embracing what God does for you is the best thing you can do for him. Don’t become so well-adjusted to your culture that you fit into it without even thinking. Instead, fix your attention on God. You’ll be changed from the inside out. Readily recognize what he wants from you, and quickly respond to it. Romans 12:1 MSG
