Ive changed my profile picture to an older picture of our sweet golden retriever, Lacey. We spent part of last night with her at the emergency room. After an ultrasound and x-rays, the vet told us she has a large mass growing in her abdomen, pressing on her bladder and colon. We were given several choices, none of them with a good outcome given her age (shes 10), and we decided to bring her home, with pain medication, so we can spend her final days, loving her and making her as comfortable as possible. We sure do love our furry family members. Please say a special prayer for our sweet girl that her transition will be as pain free as possible.
