The Federation of International Blue Cross and Blue Crescent - TopicsExpress

The Federation of International Blue Cross and Blue Crescent Organisations is a non-governmental humanitarian agency of the International Blue Cross and Blue Crescent movement, that forms unique cooperative alliances and brings together a network of humanitarian non profit community service organisations, non governmental organisations, social enterprises, church missions, Royal Houses, Sovereign Orders, Orders of Chivalry, and fraternal organisations etc., that have come together under the FIBCO umbrella. In times of crisis when the scale and urgency of a disaster calls for decisive action, our committed FIBCO Cooperative Members are available to quickly respond, and collectively raise the much needed support to provide effective and swift humanitarian assistance to reach vulnerable people in crisis. The scale of modern humanitarian challenges frequently exceeds the coping capacity of individual humanitarian organisations, whereas together, we will be stronger and better able to overcome these humanitarian challenges, united under the emblems of the Blue Cross & Blue Crescent. The Federation of International Blue Cross and Blue Crescent Organisations fundamental objective as mandated by the International Movement is to work with its partner member organisations that become part of a FIBCO National Cooperative, so that together we can be a strong force in responding, organising, coordinating and leading disaster emergency response missions, as well as supporting, sponsoring and overseeing the direction of an IFBC National Society in cooperation with the International Federation of Blue Cross & Blue Crescent Societies (IFBC). Under the FIBCO umbrella, we also bring together a network of small, grassroots NGO and CSO organisations, and projects, whos activities may otherwise be overlooked and where FIBCO members collaborate and endeavor to promote and support each others organisations to enable them to have the greatest impact on peoples lives. FIBCO would like further collaborative partnerships with other small unsupported humanitarian organisations so if you run a humanitarian non profit community service organisation, non governmental organisation, social enterprise, church mission, then you may be interested in your organisation joining the Federation of International Blue Cross and Blue Crescent Organisations (FIBCO) and becoming a key participant in a FIBCO National Cooperative of NGOs that will be stronger together for all humanity in providing relief assistance and supporting large-scale emergency crisis. Stronger together for all humanity emphasizes that our FIBCO partners are critical to address the humanitarian challenges in our communities, the country and around the globe. The Federation of International Blue Cross and Blue Crescent Organisations believes in harnessing the strength of humanity through its FIBCO National Cooperative partnerships, that enable us to build resilient communities that have the capacities to cope with the social, political, economic, health and environmental disparities that contribute to their vulnerabilities. We thank all our FIBCO Cooperative partners for their support in helping us care for vulnerable people through the humanitarian actions of our IFBC National Societies. The Federation of International Blue Cross & Blue Crescent Organisations work respects the Movements fundamental principles, as defined by the International Conference of the Blue Cross and Blue Crescent Movement, notably those of humanitarianism, volunteerism, moralism, transparency, impartiality, empowerment, sustainability, neutrality, benevolence and respect. https://facebook/FIBCO https://facebook/groups/globalmittee.fibco/ https://plus.google/+BluecrossOrgUkFIBCO
