Ive come to grips with the fact many people are taught to believe lies. My mother is a great example. She thinks the Marines are elite even though they are not. In fact congress has thought a few times of retiring them. Why does she think this? Because her sons told her so. No research, no evidence or fact, just belief in something that makes her feel special because she was told that from those brain washed to believe that as if they dont work for the same government as everyone else. Same with those I know who cling to a religious DOGMA (Not fact or even actual bible doctrine, but instead personal interpretation based on personal opinion to protect belief). Im glad Ive learned to think for myself and look up FACTS based on empirical evidence (that which can be measured and observed) because science measures truth. Not belief or opinion. Im glad I have learned to think instead of following along with the rest of the sheep. Its a liberating experience.
