Ive come up with a rational explanation to why some girls are crazy and why some guys arent so emotionally connected in relationships. ***SCIENCE AHEAD*** In the wild, both females and males have an instinct to find a healthy partner to produce offspring with. From this, I can explain that the male mind is pretty simple, eat, sleep, breathe, whereas a female mind is more complex, my argument for this isnt from visual research but more of a scientific point of view. Many women have high levels of oestrogen, this can cause loss of libido, whereas the high levels of testosterone in males causes a high libido, creating the unfortunate problem of the unsatisfied male. The oestrogen is released during the beginning of a females menstrual cycle, is associated with a females mood changes and also acts in the part of the brain that controls emotion. During a womans period, mood swings occur due to the spike in oestrogen levels, but this can also occur in general if the woman has a high level of oestrogen overall. The testosterone in a male also has a major role in muscle and is responsible to stimulate the development of male characteristics. Men with higher levels of testosterone have a lower risk of becoming obese, but also reduces the expectancy of strong emotion due to the difference in testosterone and oestrogen(guess this is where the stereotypical gym asshole comes from). On the flip side, men with lower levels of testosterone may find themselves dealing with emotional disturbances like women. Women who naturally have higher levels of testosterone will find it easier to deal with emotion and understand a males left side brain way of thinking. It seems that the men with lower levels of testosterone can relate to the female left and right side brain way of thinking, and are usually more compatible for a woman in a long term relationship. The general pressure that is put onto women in the media and in society is to be attractive, this is a lesser case with men. The problem with male stereotyping in the media is that theyre pressured into feeling like showing emotion is a sign of weakness. The scientific explanation for the lack of outward feeling that men cant project is narrowed down to the brain. Men use the left side of the brain more than women, this side is responsible for the logical thinking. This isnt just a modern thing, in the animal kingdom, species have evolved to have attractive qualities in order to find a mate, this is where we come down to the animal instinct of finding somebody attractive before we get to know them. Its completely natural and understandable that we want a partner who is healthy and strong to produce offspring with. I guess my message to both genders is, even though the chemicals in your brain are imbalanced, that doesnt mean that youre incapable of understanding the other gender.
