Ive finally arrived in New Mexico. After lots of searching and research Ive decided on the Lincoln National Forrest area. Its familiar and well suited for my purposes. Im looking forward to exploring the area and getting to know the locals. Ive rented a small studio apartment while I secure a property for the farm. My front door is steps from the river and I think Ill be very comfortable here, for a bit. While Im excited to be here. The trip has been all but uneventful. After days of negotiating and many frustrating conversations. I never found a car trailer for my truck. Apparently they dont manufacture trailers to accommodate such a long wheel base. I owe many thanks to my amazing friend Matt Meshbane. He has dropped everything and is driving my truck here for me. Life is good...
