Ive found it surprising listening to the yes no debate over the last few months to find that it doesnt matter what team you support, it doesnt matter which political party you normally vote for. It doesnt matter which religion you practice. It doesnt matter if you are from the West coast or the East coast. It doesnt matter if you are from the North or South. It doesnt matter if you were born in Scotland or England. There is no real way of sectioning people into groups to determine which decision they will make next week. It seems there are yes and no supporters over all of the above sections in our society. If you live in Scotland right now and are 16 or over you have a chance to vote on Thursday for one of two futures for the Scotland you live in. We all know in reality Scotland will be fine no matter if it is a yes vote or a no vote. Although no one knows what the future really holds, we can be relatively sure we are not going to have a famine, or a Tsunami or any other national disaster. We will be fine either way. Ignoring all the political fighting and media bullshit you need to just ask yourself - Do I want Scotland to be run by a Scottish based Government or do I want Scotland to be run by a London based Government? If your answer is run from Scotland vote yes, if you think best it be run from London vote no. This is both a head and a heart vote and only you yourself will know what your head and heart are saying. This is not an election for political leadership. This is to decide if Scotland will be run independently on its own (which Im sure it will be very successful at due to the rich resources and clever people Scotland has) or if Scotland should be run from London along with England, Ireland and Wales. Which again Im sure will be fine (at least until the next general election). Im just hoping that those of us that will be voting on Thursday do one thing and that is to do a bit of research. Write down the questions you have and do a bit of googling. (avoiding mainstream media if you can as its highly biased). Then once you have made your decision we can all be happy with the result knowing that it is the right choice as it has been made by an informed nation.
