Ive found myself in closets inside of closets these last few years- my illness closet, my relationship closets, my family closets, my pain closets, my I can barely keep up with daily chores and life closet- and every single one of those (and many more) have been scary as hell, and each door opened, or busted out of like an explosion has been filled with the fear of what if... But living alone in the darkness has become so painful and soul destroying, that I just couldnt bear it any longer. And I quite literally felt I might just wither and die in a scary dark place all alone- so I chose to come out. Because being alone in the light is ultimately better than being afraid in the dark. Im only human- and thats ok. Whats your closet?
