Ive got a bunch of ideas popping my brain & I figured, why the heck not? I am The Handmaiden...if my hands can make it...I am doin it! LOL I am planning some virtual store hours & contests for this month! I tried a mini storefront this weekend to see if it would work & it went pretty well. The point to it is to set up specific hours so that people know exactly when the store will go live. Its just a goofy way to shop, have a little fun right from the comfort of your living room & find great deals! I always wanna offer something special when you see that the store will be open. Why? Well, honestly, why else would you all plan (at diff times zones as well) to show up? Sure, for good deals, but gifts are fun. And the other reason is because I can! I dont want The Handmaiden Community to grow based on sales. Sure, anything that I sell helps my family, but what is more important is that the community grow because of helping each other in meeting each others needs & supporting small handmade business owners. I have 2 storefront events planned....so spread the word to your friends. It would be great to have new members come in for it! The more the merrier. I cant wait to see your posts coming in from projects that you have created, delicious recipes, & stories to share! Use the link in the 1st comment to tag your friends. Who knows what might happen when we keep networking? :) #1 Thick & Quick Blow Out Sale....I have watched & read a million posts about everyone wanting to make special projects, but that yarn is so expensive! So, I did my homework & did the shopping for you! I have about 4 carts full of all sorts of colors to choose from. This will prob only be scheduled for about 2 hrs when it happens. Be ready. When it goes live, its live. Whoever posts 1st gets 1st choice. I will then go next in line by the date stamped, of course. My gift to you will be this...$4 a skein.
