Ive got a cool sister. Shes a really sweet and considerate person, very thoughtful. Pretty quiet most of the time, but when youre in those weird social situations shell just talk and talk, which is great because I generally DONT do that, and I come across a little too terse at times. But Jennifer is good at running interference and I really appreciate that. Shes really smart too, and creative, and has a deviant sense of humor. She giggles at most of my really screwed up jokes, and every now and again shell throw one out there that really catches you off guard. It hits you even harder because, like I said, shes GENERALLY really sweet and quiet. But dont let that fool you. That would be your first mistake. No, shes also one of the bravest people I know. Any time theres an adventure to be had, and shes got the means to get to it, shell go. EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. Ive said, Hey Jen... Ive got this batshit idea. Wanna go for a drive?, shell get in the truck and go. Shes pretty easygoing and spontaneous like that. She might not always be the one right out on the edge, doing whatever stupid thing Ive decided I needed to do at that particular moment, but shell hang back and take pictures. Keep her phone ready to call the ambulance. Maybe worry a little. Maybe. Weve gone on some really wild, sketchy, interesting, crazy adventures. Shes got some pretty cool interests too; social activism, humanitarian work, politics. Thats because shes a good person, who wants good things to happen to the world. And she gets pissed off when they dont, so she does what she can to change that. Shes also a very talented writer, that can really bring you into a moment when she tells a story. Shes really into detail and facts, which Ive always admired, because Im more of a generalist, that swings wildly at things, and shes more methodical. Im really good at kicking the door down, and shes really good at telling me why I did... Sometimes I forget... Jen doesnt. Shes the historian. But yeah, Ive got a pretty cool sister. If you see her around, you should buy her a cup of coffee. Shed like that. :)
