Ive got a stowaway! haha I always find uncommon species when I collect sand.. First was that aptostichus, and now this little mystery scorpion, neither serradigitus, nor vaejovis! Stahnkeus? (cant remember how to spell that) note the long slender tail, and short-fingered, bulbous chelae! If so, this brings my total of native species up to 8. I wont know for sure until I get some magnified shots.. Apparently its been in there this whole time ever since I came back from the algodones dunes.. Probably feasting on asbolus hatchlings, as its definitely not starving! I remembered I did toss a scorpling in with some beetles the other night, but I placed it in its own enclosure the instant I came home... So hilarious watching the little guy chase the asbolus around in a futile attempt to prey on them :D
