Ive got a totally crazy idea! How about this - We require a picture ID at *both* places. At the ballot box, and at the gun store. Picture IDs are required almost everywhere in society these days. Examples: open a bank account, rent a video, pick up a prescription, sell a car, get a bank loan, buy a car, sign a notarized legal form, get a library card at any public library... Lets just add gun purchases and voting to that list.
