Ive got my walk all planned for tomorrow to Hulls oldest public park; Pearson Park. The park was established in 1862 through the gift of land by Zachariah Pearson, and was the first public park in the city. Its not very large when compared to the other parks on either side of the city which are enormous in comparison. But though Pearsons Park has lost some of the grandeur of its Victorian heydays, its still a charming little place to relax and spend which many people still do today. One of the great highlights of the park is that it is ringed by a plethora of the most grandest of Victorian houses. Many of these too, like the park have seen better days but the ones which remain in private hands really are treasures. Due to the size of many of these houses - some have four or five floors including basement and servants quarters - theyre long since converted into flats. This doesnt mean theyve lost any of their character though. Fingers crossed the weather will be good and my walk with my camera will be a good one :-)
