Ive got something to share with you all. Blake Johnson, is 12 years old. From Ohio. Dad doesnt hunt, and he lives in town. He got 10th here, 2 in a row. Hes trying to meet his obligation, and has stayed in touch with me frequently. A friend invited him to go hunting, and he got his first deer last season, a doe. He went shed hunting today, to try to find one to give to us. He found 1, his 2nd ever. A 4pt that scores 42. He was willing to give it up. He is showing his character gentlemen, and its a higher class than several other guys have shown. Hes going out tomorrow, to look for more, he said its fun, and he loves it. I for one, would like to see us , as a group, Encourage this young man, to continue and grow in his knowledge of our passion. Im looking for your comments, and ideas.
