Ive grabbed the groceries and spoke to a guy who just saved some chickens from a battery farm. I really wish theyd stop this battery caged rubbish. It should be illegal to hurt creatures so aimlessly like this… He explained how when he got them back to his farm, they took an hour to get out of the box because theyd never seen daylight in their life, and when out on the floor they couldnt stand on the grass and acted like it was water slipping everywhere because theyd never touched grass before… These are chickens that now at 18months are being looked after by a real farm getting accustomed to seeing sunlight and being on grass before they will spend the rest of their lives free out in the open like a chicken is born to… Why would you want to eat a chicken that was scared out of its wits all its life?
