Ive had some people contact me on a brine recipe. Here is one for a turkey I use. Hope yall enjoy. 1 gallon water 6 tablespoons California seasoning 5 tablespoons oregano 1/4 cup evoo 8 tablespoons tony chacheres Add all ingredients to a large pot Bring to a boil and whisk Once it is to a boil, turn off and let it cool. Add about 6 heaping cups of ice. Let it cool a couple hours to room temp. Use a baking bag Wash turkey off and and remove the gizzards and everything inside Add the turkey to the bag, pour brine mix over Turkey Squeeze all aint out and tie up tight. Put in a large bowl and sit in the fridge I normally brine 24/48 hours. After done with brine, take out of fridge and prep for oven. Hope you like Chris H.
