Ive had the pleasure of being backstage to help for all the #mrtoad shows. I will definitely miss everyone tomorrow as I am unable to attend the final show. These kids have made me laugh and admire them so much. Who will Alan teach the random fact of the day to or play Yugioh/Harry Potter with Steele? Will Jodi have to find the missing creeper (Bob) for Emmarie more than once? I will miss Tandis sweet smile and the way she always thanks me for holding her tub and Colins sideways wig that has to be fixed before he goes onstage. #hoopla And beautiful little grownup Hannah dancing quietly in the wings. While Margaret Ann and Lily Brooks whisper and trying to silently giggle in the dressing rooms, Sam will be swinging little Julie in circles in the hall. And the sweetest redhead child Izzie is always two steps ahead of me and so grown up backstage. No hugs from Natalie tomorrow or Catherine telling me Im a fun mom. Or seeing the two most well behaved kids Ive ever met - Sadie and Samuel - who are so reliable its hard to believe theyre so young. Oh and #shutupyoustupidtoad! Lily Kate is a bundle of energy and I laugh everytime she says my fav line from the show. The always professional Robert who has reminded me that age is really only a number. You are king of the road! Ric always flashes his bright smile and has a kind word to say while Keifer shows me his favorite wave then runs off laughing. And I cant leave out fiesty Aidan who kept me on my toes but boy what a character! Last I will surely miss Mole and Ratty...these two made my daughter feel so at home onstage and off and really gave her the first taste of what a theatre family can truly be like. (P.S. I sooo want to youtube your slo-mo videos! lol) Fabulous job, kiddos! Im so proud to have gotten to know each of you and your parents. Of course this wouldnt be the same if we didnt have such talented folks working with the children. Julie Lynn Reinbold is unbelievably wonderful with these kids and believe me, she had her hands full at times. But wow. No...WOW! Lindsay Michelle Mitchell and Brandon Kelly thank you both for, well, everything! Stage Door is a success because its so obvious how much you love it. And on that very sappy (and wordy) note, I say....FORE! #mrtoad #kroccenter #stagedoorproductions
