Ive heard Iron Maiden, but I never really LISTENED to them until recently. For those who dont know who Bruce Dickinson is, he is Iron Maidens singe and has been for at least 2.5 decades. Okay, this makes him cool. But theres more. Hes also a commercial airline pilot, accomplished fencer, entrepreneur with an airline services company (he fixes the airplanes), and he STILL tours with iron maiden. This guy has GOT to have his shit together and thats why Im LISTENING to him, to his lyrics. Not only are they rich in history, they are rich in Bible prophecy. This is my belief- if you want to take the pulse of a nation, the sweet spot for that is music. Obviously if you KNOW, or even feel that the music is evil then stay away from it.
