Ive heard from so so so many sources that if youre a photographer / graphic designer or any kind of creative professional you ABSOLUTELY need to have to use a Mac. Funny thing is i can never find any actual FACTS to support these claims. Lets consider Visual creative professionals, heres a FACT for you: the colour accuracy of the 27 Retina display of the newest iMac is a lousy 74% sRGB colour gamut...and its counterpart the macbook pro is a pathetic 63% sRGB colour gamut... How can you tune images to professional accuracy if your missing over 1/4 of the colours your working with? Now, If you didnt have to pay $3,263.70 for it, that would change things significantly; but for an AIO professional desktop that uses a laptop GPU... plus the deceptively marketed display... thats totally unacceptable... On the pc side; I priced out a PC with the same specs +1tb more storage (with a faster transfer interface) + an actual DESKTOP graphics card (with higher rating) + a 27 100% sRBG colour gamut that has pivot function (for working on portraits) all in? with (high) Canadian taxes? s&h? ... $2581.45 and thats for a SLIGHTLY BETTER computer! if i was to match the price of the mac? well, use your imagination... 32gb or ram with at least twice the speed, liquid cooling, Sli graphics cards, dual PB278Q monitors... you get the picture (pun intended) you cant tell me the mac is still a better choice because its a mac I dont buy into that kinda B.S. and neither should anyone else! what will you do with an extra $800.00 as a new creative professional? your welcome... Dont be deceived by clever marketing, use your brain... *actual case and monitor* (brushed aluminum)
