TAKE A CHANCE ON CHANCE: TERRIFIC TUX NEEDS YOU! A volunteer writes: This big tuxedos kennel card photo makes him look pretty despondent, and he probably is right now, because he is no longer in familiar surroundings with a family who must have loved him very much. The shelter behaviorist is recommending an experienced adopter for Chance because anyone who takes him home has to understand that he is frightened and will likely hide for a while when taken into new surroundings. But his former family said that he is cuddly and sweet, so that side of him will surely emerge once he is in a safe place where he is loved. In his kennel, he allows you to pet him after speaking softly to him for a few minutes, so that cuddly kitty is still in there somewhere. He just needs a chance to come out! Doesn’t this poor boy break your heart with how utterly depressed he looks in his intake pic? Sad sigh. We have the chance to turn things around for this black and white cutie. Chance is just three years young and a real gentleman—loves to play, uses a scratching post, loves to cuddle and be picked up. Everything about him screams purrfect pet. All he is missing is a loving home and a purrson to snuggle up against. Let’s offer this great guy a new lease on life. Won’t you please take a chance on Chance and be his rescue angel?
