I was sitting at the library with my roommates writing a paper and listening to music when someone came running up the stairs screaming theres someone with a gun, and people were shot!!!! Nobody moved. He said, its not a joke people!!!! Right when the emergency alarm went off. We all started running and just stood behind bookshelves... The head of the Tallahassee Police Department came on and said someone was injured and there was a weapon, and that was all the information they had... We were shortly moved down to the first floor, got pat down and searched, had to walk through a line of snipers, and were led into another building where we also got pat and searched to be let in... Every time Ive seen news coverages on school shootings I think to myself, wow thats awful. My prayers go out to them... But ACTUALLY living through it. My God. This has been the scariest night of my existence. Having to run because you are fearing for your life is... I cant even put it into words. My mind cant wrap around the fact that someone wanted to hurt my Seminole family. Writing this has forced me to focus on making sense, and has somehow calmed me a bit. FSU, I love so much more. Everyone PLEASE stay safe, and pray for all of us, especially those injured.
