Ive heard that some individuals interested in buying the prepackaged Deanna Protocol from a retailer have felt that individuals selling the product to them were pushing them to purchase supplements other than those listed as necessary on the Deanna Protocol. If this happens to you, please let us know immediately. If the Deanna Protocol will work for you, it will work with OR WITHOUT the extra supplements. Please do not feel pressured to buy more than the supplements specifically designated as necessary on the Deanna Protocol. If you have the money to spare and dont mind taking more, some extra supplements can help with nerve and muscle health, depending on which ones youre taking. ***However, we have not seen any evidence that those who take the extra supplements do better than those who only take the necessary ones in terms of slowing the progression of their ALS.*** Its important that everyone on the Deanna Protocol knows this. If you meet people on blogs/forums/social media who feel that they are being pushed to buy supplements not listed as necessary on the DP (or who are hearing false claims that these extra supplements are necessary for the DP to work) , please tell them this is not true and direct them to our forum post on this topic (winningthefight.org/boards/topic/345/necessary-supplements-versus-optional-ones).
